About Mr. Florez

Mr. Florez was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. He received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Ga. and a degree in Advanced Music Theory from Musicians Institute of Technology, Hollywood, Ca. He has taught K-12 in University City, Mo.,SLPS and Los Angeles on and off since 1986.

Outside of the classroom, Mr. Florez is a professional guitarist who has toured and recorded all over the world with such notable artists such as Dennis Edwards (Temptations) and Kanye West to name a few and led his own bands. Mr. Florez is also an avid snowboarder, golfer and martial artist.
