     Greetings,

Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! As we begin the school year like no other we have seen in the past, I am pleased to have this opportunity to welcome you. I look forward to the upcoming school year, building upon the skills students have mastered, and helping students accomplish new challenges in the language arts subject area.  I am here to provide additional support and resources A positive learning experience is built on a collaborative effort among parents, student, and teachers, and I welcome your questions and concerns as the year progresses. It is important that we work together as a team to help everyone be successful. Virtual learning is a new concept for all of us and we will learn together.  This year promises to bring an amazing wealth of new methods of learning on a variety of technology inspired platforms. I am excited for students to expand their knowledge as they move through this virtual learning experience.

During this time of virtual learning we will use various websites, but Microsoft Teams will be the primary source. Please familiarize yourself with this website. Weekly lesson plans will be posted on the course website and in teams for you to view weekly.

In life, sometimes we have little control over what happens to us, but we have full control over how we choose to respond. Thank you for your willingness to adapt to new ways to learn, communicate, and grow. I believe we all will be stronger when we come out on the other side of the COVID-19 Pandemic. I look forward to seeing you virtually on Monday, August 31st and face to face soon!
