    Teacher Message:
    Dear Parents,
We will be going to online learning. Above are some websites that are educational for your child to use.  I will be texting each of you to let you know what grade level packets and/or online work that will be appropriate for your child.  I would love to see your child spend 30 minutes each day(M-F) on Smarty Ants and an additional 30 minutes a day on Renaissance and/or IXL and 30 minutes on Epic reading books.  Please make sure you check their practice questions and help them when needed.  Some of the math concepts are new and will need assistance.  I will continue to update their Renaissance assignments and assign tests for them to take.  Their username for Smarty Ants is tknight and password is their student number.  Please make sure they stay on their name only.  Renaissance is their user name is their first initial and student number and their password is their student number.  Also, under homework assignments, I will give each child individual assignments to do.  I suggest that you set up a schedule and established a routine.
Example:  9:00-10:30 - Reading and Writing:  Read a book(one from home) or Epic and ask questions about the story.  Work on Smarty Ants.  Write a story of their choice.   Online Learning and/or my assignments from Mircosoft Teams.
    10:30-12:00 - Free Choice
12:00-1:00 - Math - Renaissance:  Math facts, assignment from Renaissance, and Online Learning and/or assignments for Microsoft Teams.
1:30-3:00 - Videos and/or reading books about anything you're interested in - Social Studies and Science.  I have some websites on National Parks, Broadway plays and musicals, Go Noodle, and art.  (I will continue to look for interesting sites)
I hope everyone is healthy and doing well.  Text, call me, or even facetime anytime during the day from 8:00-3:00. Give your child a big hug from me and tell them that I miss their smiling faces.  Thanks!
