Hello! At this time during our school closure, I wanted to let you know how you can contact me. The best way to reach out to me is either by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and/or by classdojo.com. Most of you are connected to class dojo; however, if you are not, send me an e-mail and I will quickly get you the information you need to get connected. I have been sending information through class dojo. I also have a Google Voice phone number (314) 690-1481.
If you haven't and can please go to https://www.slps.org/tech and complete the technology survey.
Another useful site for information would be the district website slps.org. The district has been posting information about the school closures, continued learning, and where to go to pick up meals that students are missing during the closures. Visit slps.org/keeponlearning to have access to enrichment packets that the district department leaders have compiled to help your children continue to learn. These packets have already been printed and are available for pick-up at all SLPS meal pick-up locations. The closest school sites to Buder offering this service are Malinkrodt, Oak Hill, and Long Middle Schools. There are also roughly 35 other locations throughout the city that are offering meals and enrichment packets from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (noon) Monday-Friday. Please see slps.org for more information regarding specific locations.
Also, if you have not already done so, join our Buder Elementary School facebook site and facebook.com. Our principal, Anna Russell, regularly posts information and resources there. You can also join the facebook site for the PTO at Buder Elementary PTO.
To help your children continue to learn and grow, please see the other resources tab of my teacher site for other learning resources. Please check out Mrs. Clement’s webpage too! We have tried to coordinate so that we have different resources and don’t overwhelm you. Some of these resources have been sent out via class dojo and your children already have accounts created.
Last, but certainly not least, the SLPS community is here to help, so please do not hesitate to reach out to teachers, administrators, or the district with any questions or needs you may have during this time.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in the not to distance future. Until then, stay safe and health to everyone!
