Hello everyone!

My name is Joshua Head and I am excited to continue my teaching career here at Buder Elementary. I am excited about having your child in my Computer Science class this year!

I grew up in Upstate NY, near Cornell University. I studied Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at SUNY Cortland and minored in Spanish. Before coming to Buder, I was a social worker. I am currently in the Teach in Residence Program through SLPS and UMSL. I am taking classes and teaching at the same time. (it's a lot of work!)

I have been to many places, mostly in North America and Latin America, including Canada, Mexico, Cuba, and Chile. I enjoy reading, playing guitar, hiking, camping, and cooking. 

I am looking forward to working with you to make sure that your child(ren) have a successful school year.
