Julie M. Beede
Ms. Beede received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Murray St. University, Murray KY. She move to St. Louis in 1998 and has been teaching for St. Louis Public Schools since 2000. With over 15 years as an elementary music teacher, Ms. Beede specializes in creating interactive lessons and producing mini-musicals with her students. Welcome, Buder Families!
Thank you for checking in with me. I miss seeing you each week! While we're away, I hope you will make music a part of your at-home learning. Please visit Ms. McGee's page as well. We plan to divide instruction. She will be posting for Preschool, KG, 1st, and 2nd grade. I will be posting for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.
I am currently working on instruction which will offiically begin on April 6, but in the meantime, I'd like to suggest some sites to visit. Try them out, and I hope next week we will get to meet virtually for a "show and tell" to share anything you've done with these assignments at home.
Music is a very influential presence in our lives. It is an important part of our culture and community. Music is a great creative outlet that helps keep us focused and helps us process our thoughts and feelings. Let's keep the music playing even while we're apart!
