Dewey International Studies Elementary School is a unique school which integrates the study of world languages into the elementary curriculum.  Dewey offers the following world languages:  Japanese, German, French, and Spanish.  Students begin world language studies at preschool with a rotation through each of the languages.  Beginning in third grade, students specialize in a language of their choice.  Additionally, each classroom at Dewey adopts a country of study to continue the international theme into the regular classroom.  Teachers infuse the study of the adopted country into their standards-based curriculum.

Dewey offers a variety of resources including ELL, and Gifted.  Dewey also has numerous partnerships including University of Missouri-St. Louis, Washington University, Webster University, Junior Achievement, and OASIS.
