Hello, I’m Ms. Shelby, the school social worker at Dewey. My role is to support students facing challenges related to attendance, behavior, and social-emotional development. I work closely with teachers, parents, and community agencies to assess and address students' needs, providing individualized interventions and referrals when necessary. Additionally, I assist in connecting families to community resources, and ensure that students in crisis receive the support they need.
