Mrs. Brittany Stuckel - Early Childhood Special Education Inclusion

Hello Pre-K friends and family! Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at Lyon Academy.

I am the Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the Pre-K Inclusion classroom. This is my 12th year in Special Education and my 6th year teaching at Lyon Academy. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Fontbonne University and I hold a Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Webster University.

I was born and raised in St. Louis and I currently live in the same part of town that I grew up in. I am married and have two children (ages 9 and 5). When I am not teaching, I love spending time outdoors exploring the hidden gems that Missouri has to offer and spending time at our family lake house. As a life long soccer player, I am very excited that St. Louis will be adding a new sport for our city to represent!

As an Early Childhood educator, I have the opportunity to lay down the foundation for academic, social, cognitive and emotional concepts. Together, with parents and other related service providers, we can work collaboratively to provide your child with opportunities to be a successful participant in the classroom and better prepare them upon their entry to Kindergarten and above.
