Biography:
I am currently in my 18th year of teaching physical education. This is my 9th year at Cleveland as a Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director. I was the Head Football Coach here from 2011-2017. Prior to coming to Cleveland, I taught five years at Yeatman Liddell Middle School, one year in the Pattonville School District, two years in the Ritenour School District, and one in the Hazelwood School Disrtict. I served as the Defensive Coordinator for football at John F. Kennedy High School from 2008-2010. I was an assistant coach for boys basketball and track teams during the same time. In 2007, I was an assistant football coach at McCluer South Berkeley.
I went to Northwest Missouri State University on a football scholarship. I was fortunate to be a member of the legendary coach, Mel Tjeerdsma's first recruiting class. In the three seasons that I played there the Bearcats went 28-9 with two conference championships. Our 1996 and 1997 teams are both in the school's hall of fame. After three seasons at Northwest, I transferred to Lindenwood University where I finished my college football career. While at Lindenwood, I was on the Athletic Honor Roll, Dean's List, and graduated with a BA in physical education.
Over my career as an educator, I have taught at the elementary, middle school, and now high school level.
When I am not at work, I like to spend time with my daughters. I like to attend sporting events especially, Northwest Missouri State Univerity and Missouri Baptist University football games. If I get time, fishing and drawing are other activities that I like to do.
I am a member of the NIAAA/MIAAA and AFCA
