This week in science we are focusing on Cross Cutting Concept (CCC). These are concepts that are found across all the sciences and transfer to other content areas like Math, Social Studies, and ELA.
Our goal is for students to become profficient in finding Patterns, identifying and explaining Cause and Effect, understand Scale, Proportion and Quantity, understand Systems and develop/use System Models, explain/cite evidence concerning Energy and Matter, analyze Structures and Function and synthesis the impact of Stability and Change .
Students will be sharing what they are learning and they should be using the CCC vocabulary. Are you curious as to what this looks like in the classroom? Ask your student about the Fibonacci Sequencing.
