My goal is to make science fun, meaningful, and something you’ll look forward to every day.

I’m also excited to be teaching an 8th grade honors science class this year! No matter the grade, I’m here to support you, challenge you, and help you discover just how fascinating the world around us can be.

Let’s get ready for an amazing year of discovery and learning!

Biography:

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biology from Harris Stowe State University. I earned my Master’s degree in education and learning from Washington University in St. Louis, and I’m certified to teach middle school science. Over the past 4 years, I’ve had the joy of teaching students in various grades and helping them build confidence in their scientific thinking and skills.

In my classroom, I strive to create an engaging, supportive environment where all students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore new ideas, and connect science to their everyday lives. Whether we’re building models, conducting experiments, or analyzing the weather, my goal is to make science meaningful and fun.

Outside of school, I enjoy outdoor activities, watching murder mysteries, visiting museums, and experimenting in the kitchen. I love bringing real-world connections into the classroom to help students see how science is all around us.

I’m looking forward to a fantastic year of learning and discovery. Let’s make it a great one!
