6:00 PM SAB Meeting
6:00 PM SAB Meeting
November 15th and 16th
Central VPA High School
Welcome to the Central VPA Principal's Corner
Central Visual and Performing Arts High School is a place for families to choose for the chance of a lifetime for their student. The staff, both academic and artistic, are exceptional in their respective fields. From previous careers ranging from biochemist to professional photographer, you can expect nothing but the best from the staff at Central.
While being challenged in the classroom, there are many other opportunities to make your child’s high school experience a fantastic one. We have a nationally competitive Debate team, a chapter of the National Honor Society, a rigorous Advanced Placement program, a strong partnership with COCA, and many other excellent opportunities.
In closing, I strongly encourage you to visit the audition requirements page. You will find directions towards securing a place for your son or daughter to excel both in the classroom and in their intended art major. If you are interested in a tour, feel free to contact me to schedule one.
Dr. Kacy Seals, Principal
Our Mission: Central Visual and Performing Arts High School creates an environment where students receive an exemplary academic and artistic education that showcases their talents and prepares them to meet the challenges of our dynamic global society.
Our Vision: The vision of Central Visual and Performing Arts High School (CVPA) is to raise to the highest level possible the academic and artistic achievements of all its students. The educational program is designed to create a nurturing environment where students receive quality academic and artistic education that prepares them to compete successfully at the post-secondary level or to perform competently in the world of work. In addition to the development of academic and artistic knowledge and skills, students will be provided an environment where they learn to communicate effectively, enhance their physical and emotional well being, acquire a passion for life-long learning and demonstrate the ability to do critical thinking and be creative.
