Mrs. Dana McCutchen-Fisher
I teach English Language Arts because it is a powerful space where students are able to affirm their identities in meaningful ways that reflect their lived experiences. I believe that learning should be joyful and centered around student choice and voice. In our classes, students can expect to co-construct their academic community by participating in and leading discussions about literature through the lens of Social Justice. Students will grow as readers, writers, speakers and thinkers!
I believe that all students can learn when their academic and social-emotional needs are met. I am proud to be a member of our collaborative team that is purposed to maintain high academic expectations while providing a nurturing and engaging learning experience for students.
