Ms. Madison Tolliver

Welcome to English II! I am so excited for this school year with everyone, even if it is virtual. We have been preparing tirelessly all summer to make sure you all have the best school year possible, and I can't wait to be part of it! We will use Microsoft Teams as our meeting/classroom platform for Quarter 1. Students have a username and password to sign in to their accounts. Click on the Virtual Learning tab under the menu for instructions on how to log in. If you have any questions about logging in, feel free to email me at any time, call Principal Dancy or Mr. Howard at 314-776-6040, or email the TechHelp email address RooseveltParenthelp@slps.org .

About Me: I grew up in Arnold, just 25 minutes south of Roosevelt. I went to Seckman High School and knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was a young girl. I have always loved reading and writing, and teaching ELA runs in my family (my mom is an English teacher, too)! I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with my BS in Secondary Education- English, and I am currently getting my MA in Educational Studies (English). I am committed to creating a diverse, inclusive environment for every learner, and I cannot wait for this school year with everyone.

I will periodically update this book list for ideas of diverse, interesting novels to read.

This book is about a gender-fluid teen trying to find their place at school, in relationships, and with their family. If you want to read it, let me know!
