Welcome to Roosevelt High School Principal's Corner
Dear Rough Riders,
I am pleased to welcome you to the 2021-22 school year! I extend a special welcome to all of the new families joining RHS this year and welcome back all of our returning families!
Students - I am honored to be your principal. Our goal at RHS is to work together to provide you with a rich learning environment. My vision is to ALWAYS put YOU first! My hope is that you will love our school and be active participants in our positive, safe and caring learning environment.
Parents – We are back to in-person learning and now more than ever we need your commitment and support. Your children, our students, have more than a year of not being in school. With our combined efforts, we can overcome any loss of learning and help our students return to the tradition of learning and succeeding. It will take our Village to ensure that your children have everything they need to be successful. At RHS, we value teamwork and collaboration! Education is a joint venture and WE greatly appreciate your partnership.
RHS Team Members – This year will be great! Someone said the theme for this school year is Vacation. I love this idea. I interpret the Vacation theme to mean that no matter what challenges us, we will not worry or excite ourselves, but we will forge ahead with kindness, clear hearts and minds, and our commitment to educating those who enter our doors. We got this Rough Rider Family!
Rough Riders this will be the best school year ever. Please stay safe and enjoy the rest of your summer.
See you all very soon!
