Hi! I am one of Roosevelt's art teachers.  I am proud to say that here at Roosevelt we have a very strong art program.  If interested, students are encouraged to take Intro to Art early in their high school career (freshman or sophomore year) to have room for all the amazing classes we offer later on.  As a department, we have Ceramics, Drawing and Painting, Photography, and AP Art to choose from.
I graduated from Maryville University in 2002 with a degree in Art Education.  I am very close to having a Master's degree in Studio Art from Webster University. This is my 7th year at Roosevelt and my 8th year with the district.  I am proud to be a "Rough Rider."  My husband and I live in the city and have for many years.  We enjoy spending time with friends and family together. I enjoy making art, reading, trying new things, making new things, and teaching.  As a teacher, I am enthusiastic, encouraging, and always looking for new ways to teach skills, techniques, history, and application of the best subject... ART!
