  • What is the A+ Program?

    A+ Information for Participating Postsecondary Schools The A+ Scholarship Program provides scholarship funds to eligible graduates of A+ designated high schools who attend a participating public community college or vocational/technical school, or certain private two-year vocational/technical schools.

    Program Eligibility Requirements
     
    Each student must enter into a written agreement school graduation and:
    • Have attended a designated A+ School for three (3) consecutive years prior to high school graduation;
    • Graduated from high school with an overall grade point average of two and five-tenths (2.5) points or higher on a four (4)-point scale;
    • Have at least a ninety-five percent (95%) attendance record overall for grades nine through twelve (9-12);
    • Performed fifty (50) hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring for younger students;
    • Maintained a record of good citizenship and avoidance of the unlawful use of drugs and/or alcohol;
    • Score "proficient" or "advanced" on the Algebra I End-of-Course Exam
