Ms. Brunner
Hello, and thank you for stopping by my teacher page. I want to welcome you and tell you a little about myself. I love learning & teaching and I hope to inspire you to do your very best and most importantly, TRY. I will be here for you and your families for guidance in a virtual learning shift, but I know some of you are technology experts so remember, we are all in this together!
I have been teaching for over 10 years and since I love to learn, I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor Degree in English Literature & Liberal Studies. I began teaching in 2003, and have continued to attend college every since! I kept on going and received a Masters Degree in the Art of Teaching Exceptionally unique students, gifted & talented students, and I actually became a school psychologist but decided I belong in a classroom with you young people and emerging adults.
I have a 19-year-old son, a Bengal Cat otherwise known as "Mr. Bo Jangles," and a mini schnauzer dog I adopted because she is such an elderly lady (13-years-old) I thought she could spend her senior days living the life.......so I love animals!
I love being a mom, teacher, sister, aunt, and when I can, I really love to travel to Europe & see my family in Germany because my parents are immigrants and I understand all different cultures, language, POP CULTURE, and I love all types of music.
So you may be asking yourself, is this really my math teacher? YES! This year I am teaching Algebra & Geometry and even though math used to scare me in high school, I think I can really teach you a FUN way to enjoy math, geometry, and really cool ways to turn math into an ART.
I am looking forward to seeing all your bright faces online, teaching you some skills, and being here as your teacher.
Please never hesitate to ASK FOR HELP. That is why I am here. Ask questions, please log in, and just do your best!!!
Together we will learn “how to” access your assignments, live learning (synchronous learning) and independent learning (asynchronous learning)
