Hello, and welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year! This will be my second year teaching high school English at Gateway STEM, and I'm thrilled to be a part of this educational community. I have been an educator for over 10 years; teaching 5 years in SLPS (taught ELA at Compton Drew MS), 3 years teaching English in China, and 4 years as a substitute teacher in St. Louis and Columbia, Missouri. 

I am passionate about Literature and communication skills; and I'm excited to help our students become engaged readers, writers, communicators, critical thinkers, and responsible members of St. Louis/world communities.
