Teacher Message: Welcome to my webpage, this page is designed to help students to become proactive about their education by having an open line of communication concerning their academic development. This site will list assignments and links to improve their reading skills.  My goal is to help students with their reading skills so they will be prepared for post-secondary development.  This page will give students the opportunity to keep up with assignments when they're unable to attend class.

Due to the worldwide Pandemic students will be working online to continue their education and turn in assignments for the rest of the school year.  Students need to look for their class names on the Office Portal 365. Students will respond to posts and participate in video conferencing at least once a week if possible. The links will be on the team’s page for each class and on this webpage.

Classes will begin on Monday, April 6, 2020, between 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. We will not be online the entire time, but students can post their responses anytime.  I will have a set time for each class once our staff meeting is completed this Monday at 10:00 a. M. Students may begin their work on the first day of class by reading the instructions and posting responses.  Classes will be using Zoom which is on the Teams page as a classroom video conferencing.  The instructions for each assignment will be on the assignments page with instructions and expectations.

Student expectations will be to post responses to questions and complete any assignment that is listed on the assignments page.  Parents may monitor students work and guide them when needed.   Make sure you in compliance with due dates of the assignments.

Third period Reading Class will be asked to complete assignments using townsendpress.net this is a temporary link which is on this home page, and will end June 2020.  This website usually cost money, since the Pandemic it is free for a short period of time.  Students will sign up as a student on townsendpress.net webpage and follow the prompts to enroll in the program.
