    Teacher Message: Welcome to my webpage, this page is designed to help students to become proactive about their education by having an open line of communication concerning their academic development.  This site will list assignments and links to improve their reading skills.  My goal is to help student's with their reading skills so they will be prepared for post-secondary develpment.  This page will give students the opportunity to keep up with assignments when they're unable to attend class.

    Biography: Hi, my name is Beverly M. Reynolds-Jackson I'm a teacher in the areas of Special Education K-12 Cross-Categorical and Reading Specialist K-Adult.  I've been teaching since January, 2004.  I began my second career in education at Gateway Middle School as a Computer Lab Assistant in 1997, before becoming a teacher. While in middle school I taught 6-9th Grade SPED courses such as, Pre-Alg; Alg; Com. Arts, and History at Gateway Middle. I later transfered to Gateway STEM, HS.in 2006.
    Before starting my career in education I worked as a Computer Programmer/Data Analyst for over 20 years for major corporations throughout the St. Louis, region.  Those companies included, McAir(Boeing), Maritz Information Systems, and May Merchandising. I'm also an entreprenuer for over seven years as a cake decorator and party planner. I also alter and design clothes, and design items for home decor.  I’ve been married for over 29 years with one adult child. and one grandson.
    This school year I will be teaching, Reading, Personal Finance, and Career Readiness.



    A.A. Degree:  Business Administration, emphasis in Management, from Community College at Forest Park.
    B.A. Degree:  Liberal Studies Minor in War and Peace, from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
    MA Ed.Degree:  Education emphasis in Special Education, from Fontbonne University
