Students and Families!

I am a French native, with a background in accounting, and have been in Saint Louis for more than 15 years. I have been teaching (from preschool to college level) for over 25 years.

I have earned a Bachelor in Elementary and Special Education from Fontbonne. Later on, I graduated from SLU with an MBA and a Master in Educational Leadership. In the Spring of 2020, I earned my Educational Doctorate from SLU. I recently received my certifications as a Reading Specialist and as a TESOL instructor. 

I am happy to be teaching English Learners at Gateway STEM. I enjoy helping students develop their skills in reading fluency and comprehension. I am looking forward to a great year at Nahed Chapman New American Academy. 

Current students can access class materials through Teams and grades through Focus. Parents/Guardians have internet access to their student’s grades and attendance through Focus at https://slps.focusschoolsoftware.com/focus/. Parents/Guardians are welcome to reach out to me at any time regarding student progress
