Biography:  This is my 22nd year as a teacher with the St. Louis Public School District. I taught at at  Compton-Drew Investigative Learning Center, Blow Middle, and Humboldt Middle before joining  the staff at Gateway STEM thirteen years ago. In addition to being an Special Education  teacher in the Autism Department , I served as  the school's Athletic Director, a Special Education Case Manager, and as a Coach for Girl's Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball. Also, I attended school in the St. Louis Public School district at L'Overture Elementary and Enright Middle before graduating from Soldan High School.

After graduating from high school I enrolled at the Universiy of Missouri- Columbia to pursue a degree in Accounting. I had the honor of being a member of the Boy's Basketball squad my freshman year as a walk-on. I was offered a scholarship to continue playing basketball my sophmore year but decided I wanted to focus on academics instead. Four years later I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

After college, I started a very successful Sales and Marketing career that lasted  twenty years working for Phillip Morris, Johnson & Johnson, and Duracell, Inc. as a  Territory Sales Manager. During my Sales and Marketing career, I was awarded the President's Circle award five times for exceeding 100% of sales quota. Also, I earned the President's Inner Circle award for five consecutive years of Sales achievement. This is the  company's top Sales Award!
