    Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Class of 1985.  Go Gauchos!
     
    Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University.  Class of 2005.
     
    Teacher Message:
     
    I prepare students for the ACT, a national standardized college entrance test that the majority of universities use to help determine acceptance and scholarships.
     
    I get really excited about helping students grow as learners and individuals.  When a student learns something new and it sticks, I get super excited! The student willed it, and so did I.  We are now on our way to a great school year!
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
    Biography:
     
    I moved to St. Louis from San Clemente, California in 1987 and began teaching English with the Saint Louis Public Schools at Beaumont High School in 1989.  I joined the Gateway STEM HS team at the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year. 
     
    I live near Tower Grove Park with my wife, Pam, and 23 year old son, Deontay. My oldest son, David, 29, lives nearby.  We have three adorable dogs: Wilma, Smoochie, and Pickles.
