• November 2010- During the November 30, 2010, Special Administrative Board meeting, Clay Stacy, a senior at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School, received the Spirit of Excellence Award for his academic performance, community service and personal accomplishments.

    Clay Stacy is an exceptional student who exemplifies strong leadership skills coupled with a “can do” spirit. In addition to Clay’s impressive academic record, he has founded several school groups, including the Volunteer Committee, Peer Counseling Committee, and Recycling Committee. Because of his dedication to his school and community, Clay Stacy has received recognition for over 300 hours of community service with K.U.T.O. Crisis Hotline and the 2010 Rotary Club of St. Louis Young Citizen’s Award. Finally, he supports and endorses many global issues and maintains a successful modeling career.

    The St. Louis Public School District is proud to have Clay Stacy as a student. He is a busy young man with big dreams and a promising future.
